How to Get Your Social Media Posts Noticed

When it comes to social media, what is most important? We all spend our time making sure the message is right to attract readers, but what about when you post that message? A major key to posting is what time you are posting. If you want people to read what you have to say make sure you’re posting when they are perusing their newsfeeds.

After doing a little research of our own we have put together the best and worst times to post according to each social media outlet.

First up: Facebook

Start working on the weekend instead of for the weekend. Research shows that… Saturday and Sunday are top days for Facebook users

  • Wednesday is the least favorite (7.4% lower than average)
  • 8:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. and noon get the most interaction

Let’s Talk Twitter:

Don’t get a case of the Mondays! Research tells us…

  • Tweets get the most attention on Mondays
  • Noon – 6:00 p.m. is the best time to post during the week (especially midweek)

Don’t Forget Pinterest:

It’s the fastest growing social media site out there and I bet you’re on it for personal use, so why not use it for your business too? Since every pin has a link attached, it’s a great way to drive traffic and get your work noticed.

  • Cross promote: post about your new pins on Facebook and Twitter
  • Create and pin infographics
  • Run promotions
  • Keep it simple
