The Georgia City-County Management Association (GCCMA) is the premier association of Georgia’s City and County Management Professionals, providing educational and professional resources and networking opportunities to its diverse membership. The organization works to improve the quality of local government in Georgia by supporting and encouraging professional local government management leadership, and it is committed to fostering innovation, mentoring, networking, continuing education, and other professional development opportunities.

The Challenge
GCCMA sought Mopdog’s support with its rebranding efforts. Specifically, GCCMA was looking to update its logo and visual identity to be more visually appealing and represent how the organization is a trusted resource for local government leaders, providing consistent and reliable solutions.

Problem Solved
Before developing the new brand concepts, the Mopdog Pack engaged key organizational stakeholders within GCCMA to learn more about its membership and the outlook audiences have of the organization. Additionally, we conducted several interviews to develop the key ideas and themes that could be used in the new identity.

We then developed and refined concepts through a collaborative process to achieve one final, cohesive, and impactful brand look. The new visual identity that we created establishes GCCMA as a trusted resource to its membership. Additionally, the thoughtfully chosen color palette represents the organization’s core values.

Following the development of the new brand identity, we redesigned GCCMA’s website to offer a modern, intuitive design focused on user experience. Additionally, our creative team developed a suite of promotional materials that will carry the brand’s new look throughout different channels.

To help share the news of the GCCMA rebrand, Mopdog provided public relations support by developing and sharing a statewide media release that informed interested parties of the exciting changes.
