THE CHALLENGE
CavMac engaged Mopdog for rebranding support to help the organization better reflect its evolving vision and goals for the future. Before rebranding, CavMac was Cavanaugh Macdonald Consulting. However, clients and team members have used the name CavMac unofficially to refer to the firm throughout the years, leading to the decision to adopt it as the official name across all legal, in-house, and client-facing communication channels.

Problem Solved

To complement the company’s name change, Mopdog conducted an extensive brand analysis that engaged key stakeholders within CavMac to better understand the teams’ perspectives surrounding the current brand identity and their input on possible rebranding elements. From there, the Mopdog Pack developed creative concepts that were reviewed with the client and led to the final brand look.

The rebrand encompassed a modern approach to the name with an updated logo, visual identity, messaging, and a new website with responsive features that make it accessible on all devices. In addition to the new name and creative elements, our team also developed refreshed messaging highlighting CavMac’s brand position. With a new identity highlighting its services, a team of experts, and dedication to the public sector, CavMac now has an enhanced digital presence with a new website that stays up-to-date on company news, events, and conferences, and industry hot topics through its blogs.

Company news and industry insights are shared through CavMac’s LinkedIn page and quarterly newsletter, the CavMac Chronicle. For networking and tradeshow support, the firm has branded elements from folders to email and social media graphics, booth stands and signs, PowerPoint templates, business cards, and more.
