WordPress as We Know it is Changing
…Are you ready for it?
The launch of WordPress 5.0 means big changes in website editing, formatting and styling are coming. Now, with the new Gutenberg WordPress Editor, users can enjoy a more flexible editing experience that entails content/media blocks, which offers more opportunities for a media-rich experience on landing pages and blogs.
There is, however, one note of caution. Due to various plugins that some websites already have installed, users need to ensure that their websites will not break upon updating to WordPress 5.0. The Gutenberg Editor might restrict usability on websites, hindering access to various sections of content editing and creating compatibility old/outdated plugins.
Not ready to update just yet? That’s okay. WordPress will support the installation of a plugin to keep the Classic Editor through 2021.
