Walking in Bill the Barber’s Footsteps
More than simply sharing the same name as my father, I am thankful to have grown up to share many of his amazing characteristics, too. Not only was I raised learning that respect and integrity are two things a man should always have, but I also watched firsthand how to put words into action and people before business.
His passion, faithfulness and dedication to his work as a barber in Grosse Pointe City, Michigan, over the last 55 years have been absolutely admirable. And more than just a barber, he became a friend and counselor to many of his clients, serving them from childhood well into adulthood.
Fifty-five years later, my dad decided it was time to hang up the shears and retire, and I couldn’t be more proud of or happy for him. Walking in his footsteps, I have watched him always put customers (friends) first, making sure the people were seen and cared for more than the money received from his services.
I hope to one day hear others say the same about Mopdog. Additionally, I hope to be able to pass on similar characteristics to my two sons, Cole and Zach. Grosse Pointe Times wrote a beautiful article on my father’s retirement. Read it here »
Thank you, dad, for your guidance throughout my life. And thank you, Mopdog clients, friends and family, for your continued love and support. From the bottom of my heart, I hope you all have a Merry Christmas spending quality time with friends and family.
Warm Regards,
Bill Musial and the Mopdog Team
