‘Tis the Season for Holiday Traditions!

It’s the holiday season, one of the pack’s favorite times of the year. Recently, we gathered to celebrate our team, the end of the year, and

Questions:

  1. Yummiest Christmas cookie?
  2. Favorite holiday movie?
  3. Best gift you’ve ever received?

Answers:

Bill

  1. I love my Grandma Viv’s Butter tarts. The family only makes them for the holidays.
  2. It’s a Wonderful Life
  3. Rock’M Sock’M Robots! I still remember the day I opened them for Christmas Morning.

Cheryl

  1. My mom’s sugar cookies. She always makes with a hint of nutmeg and love!
  2. It’s a Wonderful Life
  3. The gift of time is always my favorite.

Tricia

  1. Sugar Cookies
  2. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (1989)
  3. Bike

Michele

  1. “Leslie’s Lacies” (ask Tricia, Bill and Cheryl about them!) ????
  2. I’m a traditionalist: It’s a Wonderful Life, followed closely by A Christmas Story
  3. Probably the biggest *GASP* on Christmas morning was for my first “real” bike – nothing has really matched that childhood excitement since (and that’s a long time) 🙂

Estefany

  1. I love a classic chocolate chip cookie with a fall twist, pumpkin.
  2. It is a tie between Jingle All the Way and Home Alone. Seriously, I love these movies equally.
  3. My first pair of in-line skates; it was the greatest gift ever. I remember being so happy and excited to learn to skate. This was a fun present, too, because where I lived in Colombia, the topography made the urban landscape quite tricky. There are hills everywhere, some really steep, some not so steep. Still, I remember zigzagging from house to house so that I wouldn’t fall.

Connor

  1. Snicker doodle
  2. Christmas with the Kranks
  3. I received a drum set when I was 11 which started the whole drumming thing that I’m still doing now!

Mariella

  1. Old-Fashioned Molasses Cookies
  2. Elf (by a long shot!)
  3. A play kitchen set that I truly believed Santa brought me. I woke up, and it was in my bedroom!
