I made my brother’s Halloween costume when we were in middle school. He put a huge white T-shirt on and I taped and tied a dozen barbies all over it and he was a “Chick Magnet”

Farmer Jack would come to our neighborhood with his trailer full of hay and drive all of the kiddos around the neighborhood while families would toss candy at us from their driveways.

Have you ever rocked costumes for Halloween? If so, which one is your favorite?

Weird — I can’t remember even one costume from childhood; and I’m not really a “dresser-upper” as an adult. For someone who wore and loved costumes as a ballet/theater performer all my life, I don’t like dressing up in “real life.” Isn’t that weird? Someone needs to psychologically figure that out for me. Any volunteers?

Thriller, of course – for this 80s coming-of-age gal 😉 

What’s your favorite Horror Movie or TV Series?

I NEVER, NEVER, NEVER watch horror films!! The reason is that when I was a kid, I saw the now classic film “Magic” starring Anthony Hopkins. I have never recovered from that experience. Honestly. I’m ruined for enjoying horror for life. 

What’s your favorite Halloween memory or favorite Halloween anecdote?

I grew up with five brothers and sisters. We had EPIC candy exchanges after we went trick or treating! You’ve never seen such intense negotiations for a chocolate bar!!

Have you ever rocked costumes for Halloween? If so, which one is your favorite?

Yes! A few years back, my husband and I dressed as Morticia and Gomez Addams. I was so proud of our costumes. We found very cool pieces from a local thrift store and created an awesome look.

What’s your favorite Halloween memory or favorite Halloween anecdote?

When I was about 6 or 7 years old, I really wanted to dress up as a nurse. Ironically enough, days before Halloween, I fell and hurt my right arm pretty badly. The result: a nurse with a bandaged arm in a sling.
