About
TRCC (formerly Textile Rubber & Chemical Company, Inc.) began in 1951 as a latex supplier to the growing tufted carpet and rug industry. Since then, the company has evolved into a global chemical manufacturer, exporting to all continents and establishing manufacturing and distribution facilities worldwide. TRCC now consists of four business units, seven subsidiaries, and seven affiliates, producing a wide range of solutions and services across various industries.
Mopdog supports TRCC’s marketing efforts globally, managing strategy and communications for 4 business units and 6+ sub-companies.
The Challenge
TRCC has been a longstanding client of Mopdog—for over 25 years, and our team has provided branding, web, marketing and communication support, among other services, for such time. In 2023, however, TRCC realigned six of its North American-based groups to organize for future growth, serve their customers and suppliers most effectively and quickly adapt to ever-changing market conditions. This alignment helps facilitate enhancements in R&D, innovation, and customer service.
To reflect its new alignment, TRCC enlisted Mopdog for a brand refresh to elevate the company’s messaging and brand to highlight its focus on sustainability, customer service, and research and development. Its marketing elements needed an updated look with a refreshed display of solutions and markets to better represent its products and capabilities.
Problem Solved
After numerous conversations and successful discovery sessions with TRCC’s leading stakeholders, the Pack worked on a logo refresh that was part of a comprehensive rebranding initiative focused on TRCC’s new visual identity and business unit structure, including a new website and marketing materials.
The new TRCC website has a fresh, new look that makes it easier for visitors to learn about TRCC’s served markets and innovative product solutions and quickly access customer service support; it is a digital resource that provides users with access to the markets and product solutions for all of TRCC’s business units, subsidiaries, and affiliates. This new digital format showcases a range of features for improved accessibility, usability, and responsiveness across all platforms and devices.
In addition to the website, our team updated all marketing and communications materials to reflect the fresh, new brand identity. Starting with the brand guidelines, our design team updated the primary document to reflect the new TRCC look and feel and provide insights into how logos, colors, fonts, and other graphic elements should be used. Moving onto the business pack, we developed new folders, letterhead, and business cards to reflect the new business units and points of contact.
To support marketing and promotional efforts, the Pack updated all design deliverables to showcase TRCC’s vast expertise and solutions. These updates included slide decks, social media post templates, tradeshow display items such as posters, wall signage, booth elements, sell sheets, and corporate snapshots.
As all the rebranding elements came together, Mopdog provided public relations support to share the news about TRCC’s new identity and corporate structure via a media release, email, website communications, and social media posts.
With a new corporate identity, TRCC continues to provide its customers with innovative solutions that meet their industry needs. At the same time, our team at Mopdog continues to support TRCC with marketing and communications support, including digital communications, public relations, competitor analysis tracking, SEM/SEO campaigns, and any additional services that can help the organization thrive and exceed industry standards.
TRCC is our longest client relationship, spanning 25+ years.
