Happy First Day of Autumn!

treesAt 10:29 p.m. EDT tonight, the Northern Hemisphere will enter into the autumnal equinox. Although the season might be changing, one thing will certainly stay the same: Mopdog will still be here working hard for our brilliant and colorful clients!

Our dog pack is salivating over what the fall season brings.

Cheryl (Chief Strategy Officer) — Traveling the North Georgia mountains to see the leaves changing colors and pick apples. The start of the Michigan college football season!

Byron (Web Designer) — The combination of red, yellow and orange leaves—especially without a yard to rack.

Carolyn (Account Manager) — Scuppernong, the oldest cultivated, large variety of muscadine. Her parents have a vine that ripens every fall.

Chris S (Web Architect) — Traveling to cider mills and orchards, which remind him of time spent in Michigan.

Chris V (Intern Blogger) — The start of “award-worthy” movies being release in theaters for Oscar season.

Christine Fecik (Traffic Manager) — The Fall television lineup and especially the return of The Blacklist.

Garrett LaBrie (Art Director) — “The fact that it is not summer.”

Jean (Account Coordinator) — The end of the hot and humid summer, with cooler days and evenings to enjoy spending hours playing outside with her young daughter.

Martin (Senior Interactive Designer) — Getting his daughter’s Halloween costume designed and fabricated. This year she will be Rainbow Dash, a My Little Pony.

Mirtha (Account Manager) — The smell of brisk morning air. As an earlier riser, she will spend hours going for cool walks.

Rachel (Senior Copywriter) — Jacket season—the ability to dress in layers, with more accessories like scarves and gloves, just a season away.

Zack Cerny (Front-End Developer) — Pumpkin Pie. Although he tried once to make his own, it was not nearly as good as his mom’s homemade pie, which he requests even on his birthday in August.
