A Halloween costume contest…The Mopdog way!

image-1 2image-1For the past week, our dog pack has been busy designing costumes. But not the kind you wear to go trick or treating. Instead, we have been dressing up, and at times dressing down, our furry mascot, Moppy.

Perhaps the most zany costume came from our top dog, Bill Musial, who reimagined Moppy as Mr. Bill, the Play-doh character from Saturday Night Live. Another playful submission came from Senior Interactive Designer Martin Steib, who used Moppy’s rather large head to top off a PEZ dispenser.

image-1 4image-1 5Our two other art directors, Garret LaBrie and Tricia Saul, turned Moppy into an action figure, using a sleek ninja outfit with a sword and muscly tights with a long cape. Speaking of capes, Graphic Designer Tonni Islam submitted the only “deadly” entry, with VampMoppy, who despite his piercing fangs, still has a smile and laid back attitude.

Moppy’s cool sensibility was heightened in the costume created by Web Architect Chris Sands, who titled his multiple-polo-wearing dog as “Bro-Moppy.” Front-end Developer Zack Cerny kept things simple with his “Mopppy the Nudist.” Even, Account Manager Lauren Baldwin joined in the fun, bringing a little island breeze to the office with Hawaiian Moppy.

The doghouse will be voting on our favorite Moppy costume creations. We encourage all of our fans to tell us their favorites. The winner will be featured on the October Mopdog Newsletter. To subscribe to our monthly newsletter, “The Doghouse Dish,”—filled with new trends in the design industry, tips on social media engagement and the latest, amazing projects our pack is crafting—register online.image-1 7image-1 6Bro-moppy-editednudist-moppy
