Tweeting From Space!

As of 1:39 a.m., Monday morning, NASA’s Curiosity Rover officially landed on Mars. This story caught our eye and quickly became the topic of conversation during our Monday morning production meeting for a couple reasons:

  1. A 2,000 pound vehicle, about the size of a Mini Cooper, traveled through space and has landed on
    Mars – pretty astounding!
  2. The vehicle is communicating with earth via Twitter! Not only is the Curiosity Rover tweeting, but it is
posting images as well – social media has landed in space!

We are excited to see this accomplishment and even more so to see its impact on social media.

You can follow Curiosity Rover at its official handle: @MarsCuriosity
