Highlight Common Information in Fun Ways

E. Smith Heating & Air has been a client of ours for almost a decade now, and we have been able to and create several marketing pieces for them over the years, including advertisements, brochures, newsletters, cards, flyers, social media and now a video series. The series focuses in on easy steps customers can take in maintaining their AC units regularly, as well as basic facts to know about systems, such as how often air filters should be changed and what size systems are needed in each home.

I used E. Smith’s company character, E. Man, as the main character and teacher of the videos. He’s been the face of the company for many years now, with a 1950s retro feel to him. Just a few years ago, E. Smith wanted to revamp his image while keeping the 50s theme, and that’s superhero E. Man came to life.

I’ve been producing videos for about seven years, and my favorite part in creating them is coming up with the ideas and crafting the storyboards. It’s always fun to put the story together and deciding the proper look, feel and animations for each one. For the E. Man video series in particular, I had to find a balance between keeping a retro feel and using both 2D and 3D animations.

Watch the first two videos in the series below, and view our E. Smith case study to see more of what we’ve done for them. Contact us for more information on our video production services.
