We certainly promote the idea that everyone should try to be a little more dog-like (of course, our name is Mopdog) but we also think the creative marketing approach behind the “Be more dog” video is really cool.
O2, a European mobile service provider, created the video as part of a campaign. But this isn’t your ordinary campaign. The entire message screams “viral.” With a fresh, interactive website and comedic videos, the company has received over 185,000 YouTube views within three days.
The campaign website even gives users the option to create their own “Dog Bomb,” a personalized video to share with friends.
The big idea: instead of sitting around bored, try to be more dog-like–chase a car, dig a hole or wander wherever your nose takes you!
