Do the Harlem Shake
The term “Harlem Shake” used to be known for the popular dance move in the 80’s, however more recently it has taken on a new meaning with the explosion of the viral “Harlem Shake” videos. According to the YouTube trends report, “As of Valentine’s day the number of ‘Harlem Shake’ videos has increased to around 40,000 since the beginning of the month – and those videos now have 175 million views.” Talk about viral!
Everyone seems to be getting behind the Harlem Shake video trend. Big publications are even talking: CBS writes, “The Harlem Shake’ is a ridiculous trend (and we love it),” Huffington Post says, “The Harlem Shake is a vehicle providing a space for people just to have a good time” and The Los Angeles Times tells us, “Harlem Shake videos are being uploaded every day and now it appears they are evolving.”
