Bill Attends CYL Community Service Night

In 2011 reports from the Census Bureau showed 1.83 million Georgians living in poverty.

Tonight Bill will head to Vinings Bank in Smyrna, Georgia to lead  “Community Service Night” with the Cobb Youth Leadership (CYL) team. Cobb Youth Leadership is a program for high school juniors that aims to develop leadership skills through programs, events and other interactions.

During “Community Service Night” CYL youths will participate in a poverty simulation. This simulation will expose youth to the day to day challenges and struggles people face while living in poverty. The goal of this activity is to challenge the youth within real-life situations they may or may not have experienced to give them an understanding.
