The Satcher Health Leadership Institute (SHLI) aims to be a leading transformational force for health equity in policy, leadership development, and research. Its mission is to create systemic change at the intersection of policy and equity, which is rooted in the legacy of its founder, Dr. David Satcher, who was the 16th U.S. Surgeon General.

THE SITUATION
SHLI needed a virtual space where it could present information surrounding its mission and work in an innovative and accessible manner. A website redesign was the answer.

PROBLEM SOLVED
Mopdog completely redesigned The Satcher Health Leadership Institute website to allow the online content to stretch across and scroll down multiple screen sizes and digital platforms.

• Information from the original website was consolidated and condensed in order to provide audiences with a more accessible, user-friendly space.
• A more diverse color palette was introduced to the website’s theme to provide brightness and help create contrast between topics and sections within the website.
• A custom infographic was created to provide a dynamic and responsive visual that would successfully highlight the work done by the Satcher Health Leadership Institute.
