January is the time for trade shows to pick up speed after a slow holiday season. This is no different for one of our top clients, Textile Rubber and Chemical Co. (TRCC). After they realized one of their largest trade shows will happen in Germany, they came to Mopdog with concerns over their exhibition space.

The DOMOTEX event hosts thousands of exhibitors and participants. It has become more difficult in recent years to stand out without huge booth displays. The set-up process at DOMOTEX requires the exhibitors to wait until the booth arrives through shipping and is set up by a separate company rather than arriving with the booth ready to present. Our partners at TRCC wanted a way to bypass this process of waiting and lugging around heavy booth displays.

The Mopdog pack put our heads together and came up with portable marketing solutions. Rather than relying on other people to deliver, construct, and then breakdown the exhibit, we would provide branding materials that were lightweight and easy to transport for TRCC to carry. Using a product called Miracle Stick, our graphics experts designed large, 10’ banners with dynamic visuals to travel rolled up in tubes like one might transport artwork. The material is light enough to carry. We also designed wall decals to span the exhibit space and catch the eye of passing participants across the busy showroom. A video detailing featured products and services from TRCC will play on a monitor at the event as well.

Part of the problem was the location in Germany. TRCC representatives wanted to attend with minimal shipping and clean up at the end of the show. Our graphic designer created wrap graphics to utilize the box they ship supplies in as branding materials as well. Every aspect of travel was taken into account for TRCC’s convenience.
