About the Client

For more than 75 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta (BGCMA) has provided disadvantaged youth with a positive, accessible place to go and offers results-oriented programs that are educational, recreational and age-appropriate.

The Situation

Each year Club members from all 28 Metro Atlanta locations participate in a leadership development program, Youth of the Year. Through essays, interviews and in- person interviews, Club youth compete at the local, regional and national level for the coveted title of “Youth of the Year”. The top winner goes on to become the national spokesperson for the organization.   Mopdog needed to come up with a unique brand for the Youth of the Year annual gala event where the Metro Atlanta winner would be announced.

Problem Solved

Using Hollywood glam as inspiration, Mopdog designed a unique logo and classic event look exuding elegance. The high-end visual tone was achieved on a modest budget using bold colors and splashes of gold throughout all printed and digital collateral.
